Data Talks #22: Bobby-Founder Dominik Matyka on D2C and the Future of Dmexco

Sadly I my daughter is now too old for using Bobby to put her to sleep, but I have recommended it to some friends recently. Thank you Dominik Matyka for joining the Data Talks series, to share your experience as an entrepreneur, digital founder and the advantage of a direct to consumer business. We also looked at the outcomes and future of Dmexco between onsite, virtual and hybrid conferences and I asked him why he also became a professor.

My brief summary of key findings from an inspiring conversation is:

  1. A a founder Direct-to-Consumer is the better model together customer feedback and optimize product development and experience.
  2. Story telling about the experience is key, specially when you bring to market a fully new product category which did not exist before
  3. Social media and influencers are key – but special when you have to work with mid-wifes
