CAREER

Starting as a journalist for www.sport1.de I started my working life. But the magic of life pretty early got me connected to data-driven business in the year 2000, when starting my studies of media economics in Ravensburg, Germany and later PR in Heidelberg, Germany.

Creating a 1000 page print catalog and an e-commerce, based out of an spread sheet  – this is what it a began with. I strived SMB software and knowledge base portals for Haufe/ Lexware. I also had my time of failure where companies intentions and culture did to match for getting ready for the digital wave.

Heiler had 2.2 million in sales in 2006. By 2012 we reached 20 million, which means that we have increased growth almost tenfold. My contribution was to build a global brand and to create the pipeline for this success. Later I grew Heiler Software AG as CMO to the leader in the market for product information management (PIM) solutions, enabling more sales in omnichannel and better customer experience and we got acquired by Informatica, the silicon valley star, in 2012.

Between 2012-2017 working for Informatica, I spend much time in California and with all my global customers playing in the champions league of digital transformation and collaborating with the entourage of companies like Amazon, AWS, Google (Webinar, blog), Microsoft, Salesforce, Accenture, Deloitte or marquee customers such as Puma, GE Aviation, Hyatt, Metlife, Harrods, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, BMW, Tesla and many more of the global fortune companies.

During my last decade of work, working on solutions in big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence have disrupted the world as never before. And this is still the beginning …

Since 2017, I run business development for Riversand across Europe, which has resulted into record quarters, and record growth strong which is still continuing. Since 2020 my blog and podcast Data Talks interviews leader about their data driven digital strategy to share their best practices. In 2021 I was a in the “who is who in data management”.
